TOPIC history. 30 Years of success with individual premium quality doors

There was once a man, who for many years searched unsuccessfully for technically mature front doors made of wood. Then, one day he decided to create himself, what had previously been impossible to find. He tirelessly pursued his goal and developed an increasing number ideas and improvements, which were subsequently safeguarded with patents and design copyright. After just a few years, the technical lead of these front doors was so large that no competitor was able to bring a comparable product onto the market. What sounds like a fairytale is in fact an abridged version of the 30-year success story of the Upper Austrian company TOPIC and its founders, the Pilsl family.

2006: TOPIC celebrates 30 years of success and launches a diversity of new door models with innovative designs and new technical features onto the market.

2005: A new trading subsidiary, TOPIC EXPO Handels GmbH, is founded in St. Martin im Mühlkreis in order to carry out sales to end consumers in the catchment area of the Sarleinsbach production centre.

2003: TOPIC obtains a partner, IFN Holding AG taking a 50% stake in the company. Both partners hope that this partnership will provide strategic advantages for further future expansion. More concerning IFN www.ifn.at

2000: Completion and commissioning of a further enlargement (painting shop and new end production).

1998: The newly purchased Trodat company premises are converted and in-house glass production installed.
